There are a few benefits to Usearchme.com, the first being you will be part of a search engine community, where people can leave comments about the sites their visit and also rate them, giving you tips on your search results.

You can even send messages to each other via the dashboard, you will also have access to your my page settings, more about this later!

Bookmarking websites

One of the major benefits of usearchme.com is that you can carry your web site favorites around with you, once you have added them to your favorites list, if you are out on a works computer or someone else pc, you can log into your Usearchme.com account and access your bookmarks via your Usearchme account.

Local Search

Usearchme.com also has a local search option at the top of the page, which enables people to search locally for anything they desire, for example if you wanted to order an Indian go to the local search and put Indian restaurant in the search box, put your local area or postcode in area box and click search.

It will show search results of the closest Indian restaurants, it will also display a map showing you their location when you highlight each restaurant, this can be very useful when you are in need of some local services.

Music Search

Useachme.com is not just a normal search engine it also has a powerful music search engine, enabling people to find and listen to their favorite tracks with a few simple searches. To do a music search just click Audio at the top of the search engine, you should notice that there are two options under the main search bar Last Fm and Skreemr. This is where usearch me searches for the music, so select one of these options and then type your keyword in the search box, it’s as simple as that!

Tailoring Usearchme.com – Using the My Page Settings.

Once you have registered with usearchme.com and logged in, you should notice you are at the dashboard, click my page top right and you will be able to access all your data, this screen is yours and anything you alter on this page will be kept the same, as it is your page. Even if you login via another pc the information stored on you’re my page settings will be stored, and kept just as you have left it, you can change an edit it at any time from any pc.

Altering the information

You are probably thinking well the weather is showing London and the horoscope is wrong, it’s not the month I was born in, well the next step is to alter this information and tailor it to your needs, to do this click the triangle icon to the top right of the horoscope and then click show settings. You should notice you are given some options, the first option allows you to change the name of the box, and you can change this if you wish. The 2nd box should show the months of the year, so select the right month for your horoscope and then click save, you should then notice the data will update and show the correct information, showing your horoscope for the day.

Altering the weather, you can do exactly the same with the weather box, click the triangle top right and click show settings, there are many options but the 2 that are most important are the Location, type your location and then a comma and select the number of days you want the forecast to show and then click save. You should now be shown your local weather forecast.

You should also notice you can drag the boxes around, by placing your mouse cursor at the top of each box, so you can arrange them to look how you want them. You can also see you have several tabs giving you access to the news and search screen, please check the tutorials page for more help with.
